Welcome to happy hour at Similians Thai Eatery. This is one of the best happy hours in all of Fairfax, featuring some great specials on good craft beer, wine, a specialty drink and small thai appetizers. Combine the specials with the cool beach theme of Similians and you've got a great place to meet friends after work for a drink or 2. Here's everything you need to know about happy hour at Similians.

Happy hour is every weekday from 3:30pm - 6:30pm. This is one of the cool places where you can still get the specials if you sit at a table, so you can grab an early dinner with cheap drinks. I prefer to sidle up at the bar, grab a craft beer and a snack appetizer and just relax because the bartenders are all super nice and the atmosphere is laid back. It's a great spot for grabbing a quick drink on a date or to hang with a few co-workers after work. Whatever you choose to do you will probably have a great time.

Similians has one of the best happy hours around because the $3 beer special includes very good craft beer selections. This is a very good price point compared to the local area. The selection is not big (only 6 draft lines), but they have chosen well when it comes to their selections.
On Fridays you have another option thrown into the mix, a select bottle or can, typically a craft or import selection. The Friday special runs til 9pm so is available when happy hour ends which is awesome.

On the wine front, you have 3 different house wines you can choose from, all are $5 a glass during happy hour. Similians Thai Eatery does not have rail drinks as a special, but they do throw liquor drinkers a bone with a $5 drink of the week.
Depending on the day of the week you hit up happy hour there are additional specials available. For wine lovers, Wednesday has all wines at half price for the glass or bottle. $5 Liquor specials are on Mondays (mojitos) and Tuesdays (margaritas).

Who doesn't love snacking on some delicious food while they enjoy a drink? Similians happy hour has 8 different small thai appetizers available for $5 which is about $1-$2 off the regular price.
Legend's Tip: When you order the Shrimp Pop Pop, ask for the sauce on the side for a cleaner, less soggy snack...
The most filling option is their Shrimp Pop Pop, a clear competitor of the Bang Bang shrimp found next door, but available for less and every weekday, not just Wednesday.
