Whole Foods Sports Spot Smoked Chicken Mondays

The Sports Spot bar at Whole Foods of Fair Lakes offers different food specials on certain nights of the week at really cheap prices. On Mondays, the special is on a smoked chicken meal that includes sides and cornbread. Here's everything you need to know about this special from Whole Foods.



MONDAY SPECIAL

$6 1/2 Chicken w/ 2 Sides & Cornbread
6pm - 8pm



The special includes half a smoked chicken (think boston market but cooked by smoking, very smokey tasting) along with 2 sides. When I was there the 2 sides were mashed potatoes and collard greens jammed into tiny little containers. You may or may not be able to select your own sides. You also get a pretty large square of corn bread. Its a great deal for $6 but its not even close to as good as chicken anywhere else in the area (grocery stores, pollo spots, Boston Market, etc).





If you arrive just before 6pm when the special starts, you can get a discounted beer ($1 off) during happy hour (ends at 6pm). Also going on at the same time on the opposite end of the store (and an hour earlier) is the Mussels Monday special with $8 mussels specials (all details here)
