FQB French Quarter Brasserie Oyster Happy Hour

Welcome to Oyster happy hour at French Quarter Brasserie! Buck a shuck and draft beers straight from Louisiana...how can you go wrong!? Here's all the specials at the FQB during happy hour:

Happy Hour @ French Quarter Brasserie

Monday - Friday
4pm - 7pm
(Bar Area Only)

$1 Local Oysters

$4 All Draft Beers
7 Abita Beers On Draft

$4 Rail Drinks

$4 House Wine

$5 Food Items
Atchafalaya Bread
Catfish Dianne
Crawfish Beignet
Sauce Piquante Toast

$7 Food Items
Beef Cajun Sliders
Fried Catfish Sliders

The first 2 items on there, $1 oysters and $4 Abita drafts are really good specials. Oysters on special every day is quite unique Fairfax, a place that the map claims is not anywhere near the water. (Keep in mind these specials are bar-area only)

Take your oysters and raise them delicious Abita Beers! While you can get them at other local restaurants like Chasin' Tails in Centreville/Arlington and a limited amount at Fat Tuesdays, 7 different brews on tap is a fantastic selection.

There are also some other drink specials at that $4 rate including rail drinks and house wine, but come on, gotta go with the beer! There is also something listed as "Bartender Special" that a sign instructed me to "ask about" but I forgot...I'll let you know next time I'm in there.

There are also a few different food items on the happy hour menu from $5-$7. I'm scared of the New Orleans food, but the Fried Catfish sliders sound good. I'd have a picture here, but my friend scarfed down his Catfish Dianne that I didn't have time to get a pic.

Also to note, the bar area is not huge but not too small. There are 8-10 stools and 4 high top tables. It is much brighter than your typical depressing bar. Its a nice place for happy hour. If you haven't been here yet, this is a solid place to drink. Let me know what you think of the oysters.
