Blue Iguana Seafood Night Wednesdays - Crab Legs & Peel n' Eat Shrimp

Are you a fan of seafood? If so you may really love the food and the prices down at the Blue Iguana bar in Fair Lakes of Fairfax. On Wednesday nights the restaurant brings in a bunch of Alaskan Snow Crab Legs and Peel & Eat Shrimp and pairs it with their great happy hour and everyday bar specials (Like $3 Fireball). Here's all you need to know to get your crab on.

If you get the combo it is a good deal of seafood and you may want to pair it with the Happy Hour Specials (Til 8pm). Each of these items are available on a daily basis, and the discount is deep. Each item is $9 off! So if you are going to place this order, do it on Wednesdays!

The pound of snow crab came with 1 1/2 clusters and 1 claw. They give you some melted butter but the crab tastes so good without it. If you are an expert you can fish out the crab meat like a baw$. However they do give you a cracker and a mini fork that can help.

The peel and eat shrimp is classic bar shrimp. The shrimp were a decent size and they weren't over-seasoned. 1 Pound is a generous portion. The cocktail sauce was pretty good as well.

At this time the craft beer of the day $4 draft is Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager. If you aren't into that then grab the all day $3 PBR 16oz can special. Without beer the seafood just isn't the same.
